Today's a good and bad day. Bad news from LLU, but to hell with that 7th day adventist cult institute.

I also got a letter from Indiana University inviting me for an interview.

Unfortunately the interview openings are in October during school.

Anybody else here get an interview from Indiana and going to be interviewed in October?

Dr. Kasberg also said in the letter than I have to complete ALL my prerequisite by the end of spring 2007 semester, which is not a problem.

I just pray that I get into their dental program.

I'm from NorCal, but could care less, as I want to get the heck out of California and meet new people.

That's great to hear. I'm debating whether or not to go through with my Indiana interview since I don't really want to take anatomy this year (not worth getting a B or C for one school).... plus it's near the bottom of my list right now in terms of schools.

When did your apps mail out, I am waiting to here from IU, I talked to Dr. Kasberg last spring and he told me I would get an interview (I am an Indiana resident). I am just going nuts waiting and wanted to know my timeline so I can stop scaring my mailman. Did they correspond with you via email? Congrats, on your interview.

What do you all think would be better, going to a short half day mid week interview or the long weekend one? I figured that a weekday interview might be better because there are probably fewer students who will take them.

I got an invite to the same interview dates (end of October) along with you. I opted for the weekend dates, how about you?? Best of luck to you...perhaps I will see you there. I'll be the one with a nice tie on.

I have an interview at IU. I scheduled mine on a Wednesday at the end of October. My school's pretty okay with interviews during school days. I'll just have to talk to my prof about it and let him know I'll be gone.

I'd definitely schedule the interview and just talk to your profs about it. Make it seem like this interview will determine your future (something dramatic) and they hopefully will be okay with it.

I would LOVE to come to Cali, but it's a little far from home (my parents would like me to stay close). I live in Illinois so Indiana is just a small drive away.

I'm not really sure what I should do, I have an interview at Nova on Wednesday of the week IU offered me. Do I get a flight from Ft. Lauderdale to Indianapolis Wednesday night and just do 2 interviews in two days or do I wait for the weekend to do IU, or should I drive down (I live in Mich.) to Indiana before Wednesday do the interview there and then fly from there to Ft. Lauderdale?

My AADSAS application was mailed out on July 21st.

They corresponded with me via postal mail. Keep checking your mailbox!

Dr Kasberg is very strict on students fulfilling ALL the prerequisite prior to matriculating into their school.

I was going to opt for the weekend two-day interview, but I am going to have to leave California (since I'm from out of state) on Thursday and miss some of my classes that day.

I prefer to fly out to Indianapolis on Sunday, and arrive there Sunday afternoon. Then I will take the Monday interview and tour.

If IU gives me an interview I would definately take you up on the offer. I spoke to Dr. Kasberg last Feb and he told me to get my app in before June, I waited till the middle of June, and guess what no interview. Thats what I get for procrastinating..

A spot might be opened up because right now there's a 40% chance that I might go to indiana's interview. If I go there I have to take 3 more science classes. It's a great school, that's why i'm still considering taking those classes to meet their requirements.
