Has anyone heard back from Indiana University yet? The deadline was January 20th and they said it would be approximately 2 weeks until the sent decisions so I'm hoping to hear back anytime!

I heard back on Friday. I didn't get in but I knew approximately where I stood. Since they do 60% prereq and 40% cumulative I knew I was around a 3.6 combining those two.
Perhaps they are giving out decisions to those who got in or made the alternate list this week? My email came from Dr. Justiss.

Thanks for letting me know, hopefully the fact that I haven't heard is good news but you never know. I'm just anxious since they said 2 weeks after the deadline! Sorry you didn't get it.

I ended up emailing them and received a response the same day, but unfortunately I didn't get accepted. You should e-mail them if you haven't heard back! Good luck!!!

Wow, that is surprising that you didn't get in or even waitlisted. I have been accepted to American International College!

I had already heard from them and I also was not admitted. I was honestly surprised that I wasn't even on the waitlist since I have a 3.84 according to their ranking system. They must have had some crazy high gpa applicants! Mgcookie, did you apply anywhere else and have you heard back? The whole waiting game is terrible!

Yeah that is crazy! Last year I know they went about 15 deep into the wait list. The sheet they gave us at the orientation says this of the students that began the 2011 term:
Cumulative: 3.1850-3.96750
Mean Cumulative: 3.6284
Prereq: 3.60-4.0
Mean Prereq: 3.8825

I imagine as you said the GPA's had to have been really high this year!

Thank you guys so much for shared surprise! 🙂 I'm just glad it was literally the last school on my list (only because of the job market for my husband who is a software engineer).

Mgcookie- Congratulations! Is that where you will be going?

Gymnastau - I saw in another thread you go into University of Pittsburgh! Congratulations!

Thank you OT4life!

Where else did you apply?

At this point, yes! Still waiting to hear back from a handful of other programs though.
