Indiana University Packet?

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Did the packet include hotel information, parking information,
and an itinerary? their interview packet is a lil confusing but
you'll figure it out in a few days. it took me a while.

I am an instate resident (I don't think they would have a different procedure for out-of-staters but I don't know). They don't have a supplementary application or anything. They just want you to pay a processing fee of some sort and send back the card that is included in the pre-interview packet (that just lets them know that you will be there for whatever date they assigned you).
I have known different people to get different packets. I have had different friends receive the interview card at a different time (weeks later) from the initial packet (I am not sure how they did it in your case).
I got my interview date all at the same time as the first packet, but I do know a couple of cases where they just had to fill out their address and pay the money. Then they got their interview date 2-3 weeks later. Good luck :luck:

I got that packet about 2 months ago. The packet said that my interview notification would be forthcoming in 4-6 weeks, and i STILL HAVEN'T GOTTEN IT! WTF??!! I am a *little* concerned here.

From experience, IU isn't known for being quick. They tend to be very slow with the application process. I would call and make sure that they haven't misplaced it, and there is always a possibility that it got lost in the mail. Just keep calling until they get their act together.

So just to clarify that if you get an supplemental packet from Indiana University that means they have decided to interview you? Just wondering because I got a packet in todays mail.

I applied to Indiana U, and there is no secondary app (i.e. no more essays), so if they contact you, they are interested in interviewing you. However, you do have to send letters of rec, dean's evaluation, and transcripts (and of course the fee). The school should contact you regarding your interview date (through postal mail), but this late in the game, I'd take a proactive approach and call them for a date. Congrats on the invite and good luck to all :luck:
