has anyone heard from IU (either a rejection or acceptance)?
does anyone know what's going on over there? what's taking so long...are they writing personalized rejection letters or what?

Hey, I interviewed early October (before the 15th) and heard back last Sat. in the mail. I'm instate and it was sent home so they probably sent them out on Fri.

it's just a reminder to send in end of the semester grades.

They're really efficient. I got my rejection letter 4 days after I was complete.

IU must REALLY not like me....I haven't even recieved that yet. If I don't at least get the reminder tomorrow I think I will give them a call on Monday to make sure my mailing address is correct (I sent them a new one several months back)...grrrrrr....

I really hope I can join you soon. I don't think the mail has come today at all. The last thing I got from IU though took 4 days to get here from the postmark.....fingers crossed for tomorrow.

I applied last year, I'm out-of-state... interviewed in around October, and they sat their fat asses on my application and sent me a rejection letter all the way at the very end of May. Real nice and courteous of them.

Anyone heard from IU this month? For some reason it seems to take 4 business days for mail from them to get to me and I had nothing today....I will start my monthly depression tomorrow if I don't hear from them.

i live in indy, so it shouldn't take more than ONE day to get something from them...you must live further away.

oh well, still anxiously waiting.
one of my friends met with karen smartt, and she said applications were down in number to IU this year.
so that's good news i think.

by march 15, they have to admit the number of students equal to their entering class. ugh!

You can generally call the admissions office around the 8th-10th of each month and ask what your status is. They have usually made the decisions for the month by then and have no problem informing you.
