Another question...A friend of mine got a 27S (9-11-7) and is losing his mind b/c of the 7 in BS. He has a 3.92 GPA, plays a Div-1 varsity sport, and has a fair amount of ECs. If anyone has an opinion on his chances, let me know. Particularly, anyone familiar with U. of Louisville, U. of Kentucky, and Ohio schools your advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Your friend has a HUGE problem. How will he ever learn to properly lie to his patients when he doesn't know whats wrong w/ them if he doesn't have a good Bull **** score on his MCAT's. <img border="0" alt="[Laughy]" title="" src="graemlins/laughy.gif" />

Why doesnt he retake? You can't ask the question "will he get in? what are his chances?" no one here can answer that. A 7 is low in bio though, the average of all mcats test takers is 8 and I believe most ppl score higest in bio.

May not be that big of a deal. Depends on what your friend has backing it all up. MCATs are not everything. I know plenty of people with sevens in a category that have gotten into med school.

Thanks guys, that's good news. Like I said he has a very high GPA (3.92) and good clinical experience. Plus I was thinking that the 11 in PS might help off-set the 7 in BS. Still if anyone knows about UK or UL, let me know.

Have your friend call the school and ask.
