I think i am going to do an informal post bac, just take the upper science classes, but with no real structure or "actual" program..

is this what it means to do an "informal" post bac program?

could I list this in the background section where it asks to put any supplemental academic enrichment programs or what not???

thanks for the input.🙂

thats what Im doing...
I can't join into any chemistry or biology masters program because I have taken zero chemistry and biology credits in my undergrad....

So right now I am doing a what we here at SND call an "informal" post-bacc... for the school I am attending, my status is 2nd degree bachelors of science or arts (forgot) in Chemistry

Once I obtain enough credits in chemistry and biology, I might switch over to a masters or arts (non-thesis) in biology... it would strengthen my dental application.

nice..so how are you going to state that on the application?

are you saying "informal post bac at X university" anywhere??

do you have your classes yet?

i just cant figure if i want to put this down or not before submitting...😱

i think i will put "individualized/informal post bac program at X Univeristy"

what do you guys think? better than not putting courses down if i dont know what im taking yet. at least in that section, there will be some sort of update.

Im just gonna put down "continued education for post bacc studies"

and No Im not applying this year, im grearing up toward 2009 cycle,
Im still finishing up my pre-reqs...

I don't think it matters what you put down as your major.... The classes you take and marks you earn are what counts the most

I think that's a good idea.

I have some courses picked out, and think that I will be able to get into most of them, but being a special student, I register so late that I can't guarantee it. Do you guys think I should list my courses in planned courses, or just write Informal Post Bacc and add the real courses during academic update?

writing program is a bit misleading, I would just call it continued education

i was going to make a "planned/in progress" section under my coursework section for my informal post-bac that i am going to set-up at X school......

should I add X school to my "colleges attended" section even though its an informal post-bac???

if not...how do i add this to my "planned/in progress" course section??
