I've tried getting information from USN (Dr. DeYoung and Ms. Briggs) but they won't tell me anything. They say that all the information I am asking about is in the packet that I will receive after I mail in my $1000 deposit. (How convenient).

So, to all of you are attending USN I have a few questions:

1. What is the interest rate/payment on your loan? (I realize it changes, but for an example, what is yours)

2. When are you required to make payments? At the end of the 3 years, every month?

3. Who do you have your loan through? Do they have a website or a phone number?

Thanks for any information. I'm just trying to plan ahead alittle bit. I think if the answers to these questions were good, then they would post the info on their website, instead of making you pay to get it.

Hey!

Just wanted to let you know that there was an email sent out yesterday from Dr. DeYoung letting us know that the financial aid packet will be sent out in the next 3 weeks. 🙂

They are not making you pay to get it, but if you are not going to the school, then you should use the financial info from the school you are going to. It is private lenders, therefore, it is going to be the same info for other private loans with variations that are specific to USN. The interest rate changes and depends on your lender. You get a packet of financial info to chose lender/ etc after you decide on USN. It is specific to USN and will not be APPLICABLE if you go to another school. So, reseach private loans, you wil get the general info and then choose a school and have fun reading the financial garbage they mail you. Sorry, I seem to be in "bi*** mode, but its the darn truth"
