I know on the website it says infosource is updated every friday by noon by is this strictly it or does new stuff pop up randomly like in the middle of the week or something.

It is up to the schools that utilize infosource to update their information - with that said I believe that information randomly pops up on the site. Then again maybe that's because I randomly check it (infosource is of limited help - if you have a question it's perhaps best to contact a school directly).

Yeah, it's up to the school to update the information, and it's that information that should then be posted to the website Fridays by noon.

It's a brilliant system but their implementation isn't too great. Putting the bulk of the weight on the schools to update info just adds to the list of things they have to get done, and from the looks of it, updating Infosource isn't very high on that list.

For the record, I am accepted, deposit sent, attending a school that is supposed to update infosource, and still, since Nov. 5th it says N/a.
I told the school about it, and they told me that some students have that problem. I wouldn't rely on infosource at all.

how were u notified of interview invite or acceptance? email, letter mailed to you, how?

The interview invite was email and regular mail, and everything else was through regular mail.

Maryland is one of the few schools that updates frequently on infosource.

They say the updates are on Friday, but I have found that the majority of updates are displayed on the web site some time on Monday. My conclusion is that Friday is likely the deadline to the schools--who are responsible to update the site themselves. Then the updates are uploaded/published by Infosource on Monday.
