I mean instead of "Fundamentals of Biochemistry" which is how it was on the transcript, I said "Biochemistry"
Um. I hope that was sarcastic.so instead of people thinking you took "intro to biochem" you wanted people to think you took just "biochem"
jeeze, i thought gunners were bad, this just takes the cake. because of this "innocent" mistake, youll now have your app returned in a few weeks only to have to have it re-certified and resent, and having to be verified all over again. 👎

If you misspelled a course name or gave a course name that is slightly different from the transcript does it cause major problems during the AMCAS verification process?
Pretty much. I was once told by a wise SDNer that if your app is otherwise so perfect that this tiny error caused you to be rejected, you're very lucky (or unlucky).I also had loads of little things mis-titled (like your mistake) and mis-spelled. I don't think it matters all that much unless it's a "big mistake" or there's some intentional deception. There's far too many applications for anybody to care.
I just realized I misspelled the name of a drug I was working with in one of my research descriptions. I feel like an idiot. 🙁

Keep that in mind during the next several months to keep the neuroses at bay.
