Criteria for selection:

1) I want to be in a big city
2) I want to go to a school without mandatory attendance
3) I want to go to an reputable school with high success in placing specialists

Ranking:

1) MSUCOM
2) PCOM
3) DMUCOM
4) Touro CA
5) Western
6) Touro NY
7) KCOM
8) CCOM (super expensive)
9) AZCOM (super expensive)
10) ACOM (safety school)

You might want to apply to a few MD schools as well, I think you'd have a decent shot.

If you're looking for a big city, DMU may not be for you. 😛 Des Moines is pretty tiny.

I think it's a solid list especially with that MCAT. You're Lizzy M (67, 3.4 x 10 + 33) is competitive for any DO school. good luck in this cycle 👍

I have similar stats and applied to the same schools with the addition of NYCOM and minus ACOM, KCOM, and MSUCOM.

Fair enough.

It is small! Not saying that it's a bad thing. But, if someone is looking for a "big city," Des Moines does not fit that bill at all.
