i am having major problems writing meaningful essays under 200 words 😡 (CORNELL). i know it's a pretty open-ended question, but could you give me a few tips? thanks!

Cornell's essays are pretty straight forward.... and 200 words is a decent amount of space.

For the first question (what are you doing next year), just get to the point. Where will you be working? What type of community service will you be doing? Is there anything that makes you stand out?

For the second question (why cornell), look through their view book. I picked one or two things about their school that I really liked and stated why they were important to me. If you focus on something, then you shouldn't run out of space.

Good luck :luck:

I thought there was only one question? Am I wrong?

Its my understanding that there is 1. Maybe he confused two schools... his advice is still good though.

There's only one. The first one is if you are not planning to be enrolled in school during the application year to explain what you will be doing. If you will be a student, it shouldn't be necessary to answer that one.

heh ok cool. Too many secondaries--I'm getting them all mixed up lol
