Insufficient Stafford Loan

I have just recieved my financial aid eligibility letter from one of my schools. My EFC was deducted from the aid that I am eligible for. My problem is I VERY much doubt that my parents (or I) are going to be able to contribute to the EFC. What do I do? Can I ask for more loan money?

ask if your school can refer you to a private lender and shop around before you take out more loans. Also, keep in mind that the EFC is pretty much a blatent misnomer. What the government "expects" your family to contribute is arbitrary.
