hmmmmmm. i don't know if it doesn't differ with state but in pa. (at least in the pharmacy i work at) it is novalin n, humalin 70/30) basically all that aren't pen injectable based

regular and the 70/30 mixes (I can't think if plain NPH does or not)

any rapid (lispro/aspart) or long acting(glargine,detimir) do

Novolin and Humulin are both OTC.

Novolog, Huamlog, Lantus, Levimir and Apidra are all prescripton.

I've seen Regular, 70/30 and NPH.
