After much thought, I think I've found my #1 and would like to send a letter to that program and let them know how much i love them. Should this type of letter be typed and formal or hand written and more personal? Any thoughts/opinions? Thanks!

I think a typed letter would be better, although I'm saying that because that's how I did my thank you letters and that's how it would be done in the business world. It may be different for medicine though. I was contemplating whether I should send an email instead since it is getting kind of late and programs may already have submitted their ROL, even though a snail mail letter would be more formal.

I handwrote all my thank yous, but emailed my letter to my #1 program. It just seemed easier....I don't think I even considered handwriting that last one for some reason. It shouldn't matter. But, like DocWannaBe, it's getting toward the time when rank lists are made, so you might wanna get it there fast!!
