Would you recommend interfolio if your applying to say 10 schools? Or do you recommend just giving physicians/science faculty pre paid envelopes? Reason I'm asking is because some schools obviously have different prefrences on LORS or eval forms.. For next cycle I plan on having 4 docs and 2 science faculty members write me eval and or a letter. Should these be sent to interfolio and they deliver them accordingly? BTW my advisor just told me to apply to like 2 schools. NOT HAPPENING, I will apply broadly.

well..first of all, you could potentially need a 3rd non-science faculty letter for some of the schools like COMP and a couple others.

I used interfolio this application cycle and have not had any problems whatsoever. I have gotten 3 interviews, 1 waitlist and 1 acceptance so far.

I would highly reccomend using that service because it gives you some level of control and flexibility that you would otherwise not have if you left it in the hands of 7 different people to each send their letter in a timely fashion. Plus when it arrives to the school, it looks very professional the way Interfolio packages and sends the letters altogether on your behalf.

Good luck though in whatever you decide :luck: 👍

I would highly recommend Interfolio! I was having a headache keeping up with the different LOR requirements for each school and all of my different referees. In the end I just had all of my referees send the letters to Interfolio. It was a HUGE weight off my chest! From there, I could pick and choose which letters went to which school and I didn't need to bug my referees any more. I applied to 15 schools, got 4 interviews, 2 acceptances - and still waiting to hear back from a few others. Interfolio definitely made the application process much simpler for me! It's well worth the money. Good Luck!👍

I agree with the other posters. It is an excellent way to keep track of your letters and organize them. It was very convenient for my LOR writers, and I had no issues at all with using them at the schools I applied to. I am very happy to have them on file so that I can send them at my own convenience. I am still interviewing, but so far have had 6 interview offers and 3 acceptances with no issues with my LORs from interfolio. Good luck!! 🙂

i think interfolio is especially good if you have alot of letters, and don't nessecarily want them sent to all schools. i have a letter from a school alumus, which is specific for that school, and then a general one to go to other schools. i am in control of sending out the letters, so it makes it easier, and like everyone else said!

do you have a committee letter? someone schools ask for 2 science, 2 non science letter. be sure to get all the letters you need (and then some!), especially if using interfolio.

:luck:
