Interfolio: Recommendation Letter Situation

Hello,
I left a biopharmaceutical company amicably and my supervisor would like to write me a letter of recommendation. I did a little digging on AAMC, SDN, and other sources and seem to have the basic gist. I am probably going to apply to medical school in the next 2 years and was wondering if all I needed to do was request a letter of recommendation on Interfolio (alongside all the other formalities), with the AAMC ID and AMCAS Letter ID coming into play when I apply. If any Interfolio users have any additional information that may be helpful, please let me know! Thank you, and I hope to continue to be a part of this helpful (and amusing) community.

Yes that’s how interfolio works. You just need to pay a yearly subscription I believe.

Storing confidential letters on Interfolio is free. It isn't until the year you send them out to med schools that you'd pay the $48 annual subscription fee: Dossier - Interfolio
