Yes, absolutely. I had to apply twice and it really really nice to be able to re-use my letters without bugging my professors again. Additionally, it was nice to store them before I needed it (i.e. I had a fall semester professor write me a letter that he turned in over winter break for me to use the following June).

Worth it. I was able to collect all my letters like 6 months before the application even opened, which took a lot of stress off my plate. It also flagged a bunch for not using official letterheads, and it allows you to distribute letters to specific schools and not to others which is nice.
Most everything about med school seems overpriced but Interfolio is worth every penny.
Absolutely was worth for me. I’m a non traditional student and I piece meal collected my LORs from different semesters and ECs. It also saved me the headache of having to give recommenders the submission links for different application services.

What’s the difference between the paid and the free version? It seems like the free version can do most of the stuff, no?

I'm planning on collecting some letters a year before I apply, so I was wondering if that's fine
IIRC, you can store letters without paying but if you want to send them out to schools/AMCAS you'll have to pay a fee. Also, remember to turn off automatic renewal unless you feel like getting hit by a surprise $48 charge! (From personal experience..)
