I applied to 60+ CVS stores for tech jobs. I got accepted at one of the stores. I still get more calls from other stores. One of the managers offered to have me give her my schedule and then she can work with it to give me more hours at her store. Now, she wasn't sure if she can do that. I'm getting any 30 hours at my store. If the other stores offer to give me 20 hours; week they pay me overtime?

you need to check with your home store manager first, if you are part time you shouldn't be working over 29 hours and even if you are full time they probably won't let you work over 40 because the overtime pay hits your home store

My store manager said I would be a part time tech but she said she will be giving me 30-35 hours. Also, I'm starting as tech which pays 9ish an hour. When I get my intern licenses this September, will my pay increase?

I wonder if they will give you 30+ because they then are forced to pay for your health insurance, I know nothing about working for CVS anymore - just my two cents worth

They will, but you should be up front about it being OT or they could get crap from their superiors. You need to let your home store know so the OT can be charged to the other store.

Thanks for reply! One more question, I got hired for tech position; when I get my intern license, in couple months, will they upgrade my status to an intern? Will my post go up automatically?
