I am making this thread for a friend who keeps asking me this question. Does anyone know, if students with a Pharm D. from another country, such as Pakistan, would they be able to practice as a pharmacist in the United States? Thanks!

They can practice only after doing an internship and then taking the boards. At my job (acedemic hospital) we accepted a person with a degree from Egypt. She was considered a intern for about a year. She had to complete a insane amount of hours before she could take the boards. It is possible though.

Thank you for your reply!

Has anyone else had the same experience? or seen someone go through this?
