interning at two different places?

is this allowed? I have a fellow classmate who is an intern at two completely different stores (kroger and walgreens). Do they allow this? Is it a good idea? I thought you could only intern at one place (maybe it's not a legal law, but that was the point..)

as long as he/she doesn't get caught be either company. retail like their interns to be loyal.
