The Navy only has residencies at Bethesda, San Diego, and Portsmouth right (anything not Family Med.)? What place generally has the most spots? Chance of going to Bethesda?

If memory serves, your looking at IM. Each has 20 intern and 10 resident.
Assuming the 10 residents are split over R2 & R3 (5 each), does that mean only 5 people out of the 20 interns (25%) are picked to train straight through? Are 75% of them actually doing GMO tours? If not, what's happening to them?
If there are 20 x R1 spots, 10 x R2 spots and 10 x R3 spots for Internal Medicine, that suggests a 50% residency completion / graduation rate. It would be interesting to know what happened to the 10 PGY1s. Why didn't they go on to be PGY2s?
