Hi, I am wondering if you have to do an internship year before entering a family practice residency (3 years)?
 
No you do not have to do an internship year before entering your 3 year residency for FP. The 3 years includes your intern year.

So,I guess family medicine is the shortest residency, since the internship year is included?

the same goes for IM, Peds...
not sure if there are others 3 year residencies?
