Hey Guys,

I've been quite a lurker here before I made an account, and I noticed that many Pre-Opts and Pre-Dents don't really communicate on their exams with each other even though the ADA creates the DAT and the OAT. We can learn a lot from each other regarding exam questions and experiences (except of course for the PAT). I've been on both forums and the Pre-Dents have some really helpful information there, as well as does the Pre-Opts.

So start some communication with each other! We'll all benefit! 😀

I'm going to post this on both forums too!

It does occasionally happen (see: nc2tarheels).

One problem lies with cross-posting on the forums, it isn't looked upon kindly (see the terms of service). So what you did with this post, I would avoid doing routinely (posting the same post on both forums); this time it probably won't be an issue, so don't worry. But it would be an issue if tons of people started posting the same exact question to both DAT and OAT forums continuously (at least I assume it would).

I think perhaps if you cannot get a good reply or answer on your DAT or OAT forum, then you should come to the other forum, but again, I'd avoid doing simultaneous cross-postings. Anyway, if your main objective was simply to encourage both sides to visit the other's test forum, then awesome, I'm totally with you!

As a sign of good faith, here's a link to the OAT practice test (yes I'm aware it has been mentioned before, but exposure in this thread I believe will be beneficial): https://www.ada.org/oat/oat_sample_test.pdf

Thanks Kahr for the clarification! I see what you mean. It's exactly as you said though,
if your main objective was simply to encourage both sides to visit the other's test forum
hopefully it works out!

Thanks for the practice OAT! 🙂 I'll see you around!
