Interventional Pain Physician Hourly rate

Just trying to get a ballpark number of the ongoing hourly rate for an interventional pain management/physiatrist? Especially in Florida?
Board Certified, fellowship trained, less than 5 years experience and this will be as a 1099 contractor, no benefits, self pay malpractice. $220-250 per hour? Too much? Too little?

$200-$225 would be in the low end of what a good interventional dude would be valued at?

Are you looking at a hired gun gig or doing some locums?

When you meant South Florida, do you mean Miami-Dade county region? I am doing locums and mainly in North Florida.

I guess it all depends on the workload but that seems high for the market in Florida. Most of Florida is Medicare and personal injury/WC.

Yup. Dade county is notoriously cheap. Anything north of there is a little bit more generous.

200 an hour if full time still comes out to 400k a year.

how many hours are they offering...

my friend got a VA job in the south/east that pays hourly for pain/interventional pain. I think it was 185 with some benefits including malpractice. guaranteed 36hr weeks

I get 2000 for 8 hour day on gulf coast. All PI. 10-15 pts per day. Hour lunch.

On PIP owners of the clinic can collect around 10K for a days work. LOP cases probably more.
