My interview is in 2 weeks and everything I have read suggests I have good questions for my interviewers.... The problem is, I worked there as a RN and a nurse practitioner for years. I am very familiar with the facility and what they offer. Anyone have recommendations for topics of discussion I could bring up? I want to sound knowledgable but humble at the same time.

I don't think it's a big issue -- you haven't really been down this exact path and are sure to have questions -- you weren't going to ask about the facility and city anyhow. Go with whatever questions you have, but feel free to pepper in that you already have some insight from what you observed from the nursing/NP side of it. Certainly play up any questions you have regarding differences in training. Research, if you are interested, is probably an area without much overlap. My bet is your questions will be better than most because you won't be asking where most people live, etc.

- What drew them to working at/attending that med school?
- What would they change about the curriculum?
- What are opportunities for (research/early clinical experience/whatever)?

I imagine the majority of your interviews are going to rest around why np to md. Im sure you have that down and can make a very coherent and exciting talk. Good luck, you have an excellent chance!
