Dont fret, I was interviewed there last cycle and everyone was cool. After you read the link above and prepare, you should feel more confident. If nerves are still a problem, I find drinking concentrated green tea really works wonders (though just a warning if you have a sensitive stomach you might experience some discomfort the first few times you do this).

I highly recommend talking about how well you work in groups. Also read up on PBL and be sincere in how much you'd enjoy and/or benefit from it. It's a group interview so make sure you shine when it's your turn to talk but don't be pushy/overbearing/cocky towards others. Interviewed early last year and got accepted December 2nd.

How do you they notify you? Email or phone?
My advice is to NOT try to dominate the conversation or comment on every single thing other people say.. Relax, be yourself, and wait for your turn to answer the questions. If for some reason there are multiple people trying to answer the questions at the same time, always let them go first..

I absolutely agree with AVB2104...and btw I am a Lecom D1...it will be the easiest interview experience you've ever had. They just want to know you and see if you can survive the PBL thingy...But it can easily turns out to be a tough one if you are too aggressive and worry about your turn all the time. Wait for your turn, think of your answers thoroughly, remember everyone's first name and address them by that, always do a neutral kind of complement like: "I really like what you are thinking, B..." then you start with your own. Overall it's a fun experience for me.
By the way, I interviewed there on Oct, got accepted on Dec 2nd as well! Good luck dude

Thanks for the advice guys! Another reason why I am really nervous is because my gpa/sGPA are not competitive at all so I really have to do my best to show them I am a good candidate.. I will take it easy, try to stay calm, and not rush to answer questions. Thank you !!
hey man, they gave you an interview based on your entire application. With this being said, your Personal Statement, LORs, gpa, dat, volunteering, and etc are all considered heavily in the admissions process. I am excited and a tad nervous too, I was offered an early interview and scheduled for Aug 28th! So I hope to see you down there if you are going that date! Just relax, prepare the best you can, and enjoy the interview!

I'm on the 9th as well! The email says they start at 8. I asked when they ended for flight booking reasons and they said around 230p

What's the closest airport to LECOM? I'm from DC!!!
The Bradenton/ Sarasota airport. 20 minutes away from school. Otherwise Tampa bay

In their attached PDF of the local hotels it states that they offer LECOM rates if you call the local number or book through the hotel's website. I didn't see any place to put in a discount code for LECOM on the hotel's website. I booked mine already and will just mention it to the clerk when I get there.

Would you go if it was your only acceptance? If not then you should tell them that way they don't waste an acceptance on you. Not trying to be a dick but just looking out for others who would really like an acceptance from there.
Admittedly I cannot compare LECOM against other schools because I have not interviewed anywhere else :/ So, yes, as of right now I can say that it's the best school out there. I would love to interview at other places but haven't had the opportunity. Perhaps once schools receive my fall semester grades they'll be more apt to give me a chance.
