Already had my interview at DMU this past week and have one for OCPM tomorrow. I felt as though DMU drilled me about my past schooling with me withdrawing from PT school to pursue podiatry. What were some thoughts about OCPM interview? Advice?

Absurdingly (is this a word?) short. Interview was only about 20 min long and Very chill.

anything I should read up on going on, that I may not know about?

Expect to be overwhelmed by about 10 1st year students saying "We are so proud of..." - new facilities, Case Western profs for basic science, etc. Expect to be told that they don't care about your MCAT or grades - just who you are as a person. Don't bother asking about board scores or attrition rates. I was told that until NY releases their board scores OCPM isn't going to either. Do ask very specific questions about how externships can be scheduled your 4th year and how much time is to be spent in Ohio. If you don't want to do your residency in Ohio/Cleveland you might like to spend more of the year out of state and I believe I was told that 6 months of your 4th year at OCPM must be spent in their programs (I'll happily accept correction on this point). The interview was 1 on 1 and was no pressure/not vigorous. Mine was even shorter than Ravin's. That said - you should expect to be grilled anywhere you go. You withdrew from a professional program which could be considered a red flag for "quitter/lacks-follow-through" so you need to have that answer down tight (not trying to give you grief - just a review of other subforums here would tell you that moving between professional programs is tricky). Do review the financial paperwork they give you against other schools. Every school seems to list different expenses that other schools don't list that makes planning financially difficult. Do ask if the budget they supply you for 1st year is based on 12 months of expenses or 10 months (most schools only do 10 months of class 1st year). If you have a car and are there a day or 2 do consider driving out to some of the neighborhoods they recommend and doing a bit of studying up on Cleveland. Might as well make the most of your time while you are there.

Hey, I was at DMU with you on Monday, did you hear back from them yet?
