so do all the guys here that go to interviews just wear the traditional suit and tie? or do some people wear the vest top, i dont know what its called. how about no coat, just shirt and tie?

You can do a search and find about 23,000 threads on this subject. But, to be a little more helpful, YES... nearly everyone wears the traditional suit and tie. It's usually deemed unwise/stupid to be creative with attire at an interview.
