Interview before committee letter is in

Hey guys so my school still didn't send in my committee letter even though I met with them months ago. They usually get them out late which really stinks. I had the dentist I interned with send his directly to AADSAS but will any schools (in NY area) send interview invites before they get the committee letter?

I don't know what would be different between NY schools and the rest, but I was in the same boat as you. Contacted my predent comittee in early May about my letter. Submitted AADSAS and supplementals in early June. AADSAS app mailed early July. Finally he submitted my letter on July 28. AADSAS mailed the letter Aug 11. And hopefully schools have it now. As of last week, only 1 school did. Anyhow, none of the schools I applied to would consider my app complete and ready for review until they have that comittee letter. it just sits there. Incomplete. Waiting. Like us dental applicants.

Yes there are several schools that dont consider letters of reccomendation unless you get an interview. Maryland, lucky for you, is one of them. They dont look at LOR until after they send you an interview invite.
