Most schools do not allow you to share actual interview questions and that is very understandable, with that being said good luck to all that receives a interview!

At Minnesota, it was expected you would not do that.

I'm not sure how other schools handle it.
I think I actually signed a confidentiality agreement for Michigan. In general, it's frowned upon to give an advantage to your friends regarding the interviews. The same applies when you're a second year and you have friends in their first year about to take their exams. It still happens regardless, but don't be the person who gives a handful of people the questions you had, and ends up causing a problem for others.

If anything, prepare by doing mock interviews. Read a question, and practice answering it out loud in a profession/composed manner. See if your boss or a friend can practice with you.

No idea what Western's policy is on it... SDN has some resources where people share interview questions, and they're not hard to find.

Totally understandable and changed my thoughts.

Nothing wrong with asking! And the policy probably differs from school to school. The SDN front page has a link somewhere (I gotta get going, I can't go find it right now) for interview questions from some schools. Last I checked (*cough* years ago *cough*) Minnesota's wasn't available, but that's the only school I know anything about. Depending on what school(s) you are applying to there may be info!

If you're going somewhere that does behavioral interview questions, just google "behavioral interview questions" and you can find tons and tons of examples. The basic premise is that past behavior is a predictor of future performance - how you responded to something in the past is likely how you'll deal with it in the future. So they can assess personal characteristics they find valuable in selecting candidates.

Also, at least at MN, not all candidates got all the same questions. They had a few different questions for each characteristic they might be evaluating.

Anyway ... g'luck!

I interviewed at Penn and Midwestern and they don't have any rules about sharing interview questions. Midwestern mostly asked how I thought I would handle living in AZ and how I would fit in as a super non-trad. Penn mostly asked about the research I had done and how I felt about live animals used for research purposes (my research involved animals that were found dead on the beach).

I interviewed at both Iowa and Minnesota. I found the questions to be very similar. Iowa state does allow posting of their questions. Perhaps someone remembers how to find the page where it lists the schools with their interview questions.... literally the interview questions for Iowa State were practically verbatim as to what was posted on the SDN interview link.
