Had an interview at a school, fell in love with the school, the hospital, and the program. Hoping to get in, because I would definitely go there in an instant.

Had an interview at a stretch school, garbled up a few of my answers, too aggressive with some responses... who knows. Will be waiting for months before I find out.

Had another interview session, hated the school, botched up one of the major questions. Meh.

Had three amazing interviews at one school, the interviewers were literally in love with my file and my EC's. They were all over me and complemented me bigtime on my answers to their tough questions. And then the committee pulled out the knife and I got the axe!

Had a fairly middle-of-the-road interview at a school I was impressed with, felt nervous but confident. Was the comic relief for the students during lunchtime. Got accepted.

This shiit is crazy  ... I need a beer.

oh yea... it's best not to try to make sense of the process or think back on interviews that didn't go great at places you loved.

forget about the bad parts... celebrate the wins (congrats on that acceptance!)... grab that beer and get ready for new South Park at 10!

And the way things have been going, the way we think we did means jack. Sometimes that botched, not so smooth answer might seem honest and unrehearsed to the right interviewer.

Exactly. It is a little stressful, but it's starting to remind me of the NCAA Basketball tournament, where sometimes the only sure thing is that there is no sure thing. #1 Ranks choking before the Sweet 16, and big surprises like Gonzaga coming out of nowhere. It's almost fun in a way, as long as I keep myself from looking at my low checking account balance at the end of each month.

Well just feel fortunate that u got interviews and an acceptance. Poor Aug MCATers have to read and live vicariously. (I'm not one of them, just saying, cuz alot of them have been freaking out about the timeframe and their scores and reading this probably gives them penile embolisums).
