As interviews begin rolling up, I had a couple questions regarding minor things about interview days that would certainly help me prepare.

1. Are we allowed to bring water bottles/is it acceptable to bring a water bottle into the interview?
2. Are padfolios/little notebooks for jotting some points down acceptable?

1. You can bring a water bottle, but I wouldn’t bring it into the actual interview room. Schools usually provide water.

2. Sure, but not in the interview room.

1) I'd have no problem with a water bottle brought into the room, though admittedly I rarely see one used.

2) A notebook/portfolio is fine, too, but keep your focus on the interviewer and jot down notes from the interview later. Use the notebook mainly to remind you of questions you wanted to ask if/when your mind goes blank.
