Yes, once your file is complete (Online application, fees, recomm. letter, transcripts, resume, etc.) then UT COP will send you an email notification.

I received an email from them saying my file is complete only after they received my transcripts from UT Main, which took a while.

You can go to the PharmD Online Application Login page and it'll show you your status.

And also the UT Eid page to check your UT Main app. status. https://utdirect.utexas.edu/utdirect/index.WBX

Is the file considered COMPLETE only after both the main app and COP app have been submitted? My MAIN app is not finished yet but I submitted my COP app a while ago.

Ok, I just read your post again, you said that your app was complete after COP received your transcripts from MAIN. My transcripts are already there, but they are waiting on 1 more essay.

mike did i tell you? my interviewer asked me a question about cocaine. or so i thought it was. halfway through answering the question, i had the epiphany that he probably said codeine. awesomee. he was probably like, who is this girl?!?!

just spoke to a friend of mine who's helping with this whole app process. he said that the first round of interviews is the 17th and 18th. he also said that people with degrees usually get the first invites bc they were able to apply earlier bc they already had their pre-reqs in order. for a sophomore like me, i had to wait until after jan 2 when our registrar made our transcripts that included the fall semester available.

Guess that counts me out. I also had to wait until Jan. before my application was complete.

I submitted my COP application in around October but just submitted my Austin main application about a week ago. Does that mean they have not evaluated my COP application because w/o my main UT application, my file is not complete? So, I probably won't be in the first batch of interviewees?

If you do not feel comfortable giving your stats, would you just speculate as to what PCAT score and pre phamacy gpa you think is needed for Texas? I am starting to give up. Sorry for the negative tone but I am sure you know how difficult it is. Thanks again

I got one today too. Don't be discouraged, its still early in the game for UT. Given the size and ranking of UT i would guess (totally out of my a$$) than an 85+ pcat would be needed to stay competitive. And yes, your main app needs to be processed before your transcripts are forwarded to the pharmacy school.

Thanks for answering... do you know approximately how long it takes for MAIN to process the MAIN app before they send it on to COP? I am kinda upset b/c COP told me they would go ahead and process without MAIN... I had 1 essay left for the MAIN app which I put off till now b/c I thought it didn't matter...

Hey Louise Hall don't be depressed or get down.. i know it's easier said than done, but the fat lady is not singing yet.... even for those of us with interviews.... I don't really want to give too much information out just because I have this fear of the Ad. com reading these posts and figuring out who I am before they meet me BUT.. i will say my g.p.a is not impressive... but my p.c.a.t is good(90+).. i hope i haven't given away too much of myself(i'm paranoid 😳 )... Remember that what will be will be, and your stress level will not change that.

Thanks for the encouragement but I feel like the fat lady is starting to o. d. on M & M's. Your are correct because I can not change anything now but the waiting game is turning me into the fat lady. I can't even sing!!!!

I recall the Main app taking about a month to process. That is from when I completed my Main app (after the pharm one) to when my transcripts were finally forwarded to the pharmacy school.

this is early in the review process. the priority deadline just passed and the final deadline has yet to pass. i feel like that means a lot of people haven't even applied yet. and you know how notorious ut is for taking their time. i wouldn't worry about it at all. i knew people who got in who were in the very last interview date.

my main app just went thru. i am hoping that i get a interview in the future! congrats to all of you guys! did any of yall finish up your pre-reqs in the fall? i think that that will be my biggest hold up! eekk!
