Has anyone been experiencing a discrepancy from when they get a interview invite email and when your eras account gets the same message? Is the email usually slower?

I have had the same problem with yahoo, my invite came hours afer eras and even had the wrong date.

From now on, I just check Eras first.

It seems to vary for me, sometimes it's gotten to my email in minutes. The longest delay I've noticed was over 12 hours.

I think it's more than an email delay, sometimes the timestamps are just wrong. For example, a few days ago, I checked my email around 10a - nothing. A few minutes later, I logged on to ERAS to see if my Step 2 CS transcript had gotten uploaded -- no new messages. Then, around noon, I got an email with an interview invite, and the timestamp was 6am. Makes no sense.

This makes sense to me. Some email programs allow you to hold a message. So they may be writing the emails at 6am and sending them to the outbox. But then they are all sent at once when the Program Coordinator is available to take calls or something...

The discrepancy between ERAS and email makes no sense though. Probably a delay by your email provider

Also, ERAS internal server probably has a delay. Due to the amount of data being transferred, ERAS does have hang-ups.👎

No email sent directly from programs ever have a delay to my gmail.👍👍

Emails from noreply@ERAS always have a delay-- varies from ~4-6 hours. 👎

And then it really sucks when at 5pm (enter time zone here), I receive an invite ... biting my nails all the way until the next morning, praying that the date I want isn't taken.👎

So thanks to those who send invites from a non-ERAS email 😀
