Interview invites 2006

Applications for CDC's Epidemic Intelligence Service are open through June 5, 2026.

So far, have heard from categorical IM Northwestern, Emory, Mount Sinai.

What else is going on with people?
 
Has anyone heard from GW, Georgetown, UMaryland, Hopkins or UCSF? These are my top choices and i've not heard from any of them. I know its still kind of early, but i was hoping to hear at least from one of them by now!

Hey 48 hours--do you have all in except for MSPE. My dumb school hasn't sent my transcript yet, and i'm not hearing back from NMH or U of C. I wonder if that's why...

other people who have heard from northwestern and U of C. Do you all have everthing in except your MSPE?

Yes, I'm also starting to feel anxious about it... haven't heard anything from my top choices yet, which are UCSF, Stanford, UW, JHU, MGH, or Brigham.

Anyone know when these schools send invites?

Hey BD-

Yea, I had in everything but my MSPE and one of my LOR. So, I bet it's the transcript thing like you said. Plus, U of C is my med school, too, but I don't know if that matters. Once programs get your transcript downloaded, I'm sure you'll hear from them. It's still really early, too. Good luck!
 
Invites from Duke on 10/6, and UAB 10/12. Also from UF. Still waiting on UNC and UVA. Good luck

First post here,

Got a few so far: Mayo, UC, NWU, WashU, Pitt, Yale. I did hear from Stanford, UCSF through email, but not ERAS, which I am excited about. Brigham has not gotten back so I guess they're slow.

Didn't hear anything from Univ of Minn. Do programs offer to thier inhouse med grads before offering to other students? Got kinda nervous when I saw this post.

Don't know, but I'm wondering the same thing. Everything in my app is in except for the MSPE. I also personally know people involved in each program, so I suppose they may have just pulled my app when they saw it.

have heard from:

Lahey Clinic (Massachussetts), Baystate/Tufts, Sunny Downstate, Mount Sinai Cabrini, UMDNJ Newark, Banner Good Samaritan Arizona, Mercy Hospital in Pitts.

My steps scores are not the best and I failed step 1 (one time) so I had to apply to a very big number of programs.
 
I haven't heard back from Temple after sending in my interview request dates...glad to know I'm not the only one!

Anyone heard from columbia/cornell/mt.sanai/AEinstein in ny?

Just got invite from Mount Sinai NYC today. They didn't give a range of interview dates available (otherwise I'd post the interview schedule).

Just got my U-M invite. Can't wait to be back in Ann Arbor. I'm going to spend an extra day just for the restaraunts.
 
Got UCSF Invite today! Definitely excited.

But, I think I applied to too many programs. Anyone else almost already filled all their interview spots with schools they kind of like? But, now as schools that you really like start rolling in, you are thinking you will have to cancel some other interviews? Or is this just happening to me. 🙄

there aren't enough programs for you to apply to for your huge ego. yeah, you're so awesome at techno raves it's only happening to you - having to cancel at top programs. want a congratulatory mustache ride or more meow mix to munch on?

Got an invite from UAB yesterday, the same day my ERAS photo was uploaded, coincidence maybe, but I hear that some program directors won't interview you without a photo.

So that brings me to 6 offers:

Very good, cheap chinese food from 'world famous Chef Jan' @ China Gate on S. University. $

Excellent Italian @ D'Amatos on S. 1st St. $$$

Artery Clogging burgers @ Blimpy Burger on S. Division. $

I understand your frustration! actually i got dual Mass General and Hopkins interview within the last few days and now i got a UCSF invite... where should i schedule them?? my interview days are getting so full! i definitely overapplied, just like you, i applied to ALL the top 15 programs! I should've only spent my $60 and applied to the top 10! i think i will go ahead and cancel my Yale, Stanford and U wash interviews. Ill still hold onto Mayo, Columbia and Wash U but i may have to cancel some if i get a Brigham interview! :laugh:

Congrats on the interviews, I thought hopkins didn't send out stuff until Nov, but they must've started earlier.
Can you post the dates for hopkins and mgh?
