Don't get frustrated...Invites are still coming out. I got one last night, when others had said the invites went out a while ago. People told me that it was still early, and not to really worry until first week of February or so. Now that I have gotten 3 invites (1 rejection), and still waiting to hear from 2 more programs, I am at least shifting to focus on the interviews I have, rather than fretting over the ones I haven't heard from yet.

I just checked and I got my first invite last year on 2/3...

Despite that I'm having a hard time remaining optimistic about my chances for a PGY2 this year...
 
A friend of mine got an interview to UCSD amcare earlier this week. Those who applied to the VA Baltimore still have not heard anything yet.

that means you are on the wait list - depending on if everybody accepts our interview invites (or the email got lost) - but we heard back in less than 48 hours on all of our initial invites.

Hmm do emails get lost when PhorCAS has the correct contact info?

And if programs hear back in less than 48 hours from all initial invites, shouldnt rejection letters be sent fairly soon after?

I dunno. I think I really am starting to go crazy with the wait. Ahhhhhhhhh~~~

but i've never heard of a rejection via voicemail..


anybody heard from any of the TX or FL VA programs?

i got rejected from bay pines va... still waiting for gainesville VA, gulf coast VA, and west palm VA. i know a bunch of friends who've gotten rejections to gainesville VA, but nobody who has gotten an invite yet.

I know someone whose gotten an interview at gainesville va she got it a week and a half ago but then I know someone else who just got a rejection there this past week.. Making their way down the list I suppose
 
Does Cleveland Clinic send out rejection letters? I'm assuming that since some people have already heard back with interview invites, they will send rejection letters soon? or will they at all?

2 days later, I'm starting to think all these programs have longer wait lists than one would think [emoji53]

really, for Thomas Jefferson? i have like 5 classmates that applied and didnt get a rejection or an interview...i feel like we wouldnt all be on a wait list that seems like too much of a coincidence haha, but maybe.... do you know if offers/rejections were sent by email? and when?

yeah I just got invited 15 minutes ago...
 
Has anyone heard from any WA programs such as Providence St. Peter, Good Samaritan Hospital, or St. Josephs? They all closed out towards the beginning of the month and I haven't heard one way or the other from them..... this is so stressful!

I heard from my WA programs. I heard from Providence Sacred Heart and St. Joseph Medical Center (Tacoma). My friend heard from Prov. St. Peter

Philly VA invites pretty late (interviews are usually conducted in mid-February, unless things have changed).
