University of Hawai'i at Hilo - Choice of location for interview - Las Vegas, Orlando, or Hilo. Dec 4-13. I'll fill my form out tonight and fax it in on Monday.

I turned in my pharmcas 8/20.

Before then I already finished my USC and UOP supps a month early, but I haven't heard anything from them yet. sad day.

I got an interview for MWU CCP on the 15th... flying to chicago in between labs on a weekday is not fun, but im excited! I got this email probably like 3-5 days after I turned in my supp.

I got call from NSU, but I haven't called back cause I can't decide on a date for it yet. The call from NSU was also very very rapid after turning in my supp.

And yesterday I got an email invite from Hawaii. I turned this supp in a loooooooooong time ago.

I have a overall of 3.2 and a science of 3.09. My pcats are.. not pretty at all. Low 70's for composite.

For those of you going to MWU DG on 10/15 Hit me up, haha it's my first time flying by myself and to a place I'm not familiar with at all.
 
closed file means the interviewer will have no access to any information about you. This is a way to keep the interview unbiased.

By the way, Im surprised lots of people got interview invites this early in the year.

Going to chicago on the 15th from socal here too. are you guys going to check out of your hotels early on Wednesday and store your suitcases somewhere with the admissions office?

Honestly I have not a darned clue, I don't think I'm going to bring much stuff with me. Probably just my backpack and a small carryon bag. It's only going to be a day for me. I probably will check out early, as for the bags I'll figure something out hahha.

What time are you arriving in chicago/ leaving chicago? It'd be nice if I didn't have to taxi it from ohare to the hotel at midnight by myself. 🙂

I asked my hotels' front desk to watch my things for me until I came back from the interview. I know someone else who asked for a later check out time.

oh wow, I thought I'd be the only one getting there around midnight. the arrival is scheduled for 11:32pm at O'hare. flying NWA. pm me if you want to work something out.

i got a call from vcu, my top choice, for an interview today. weird thing tho is that the interviews are still supposed to be for early decision applicants, and i applied regular decision because my application wasn't ready by the early decision deadline. anyone know if they'll still let me know yes or no by october 24th, the deadline for yes or no for early decision applicants? also, any tips for their interview for those who've been through it already would be great. thanks, and good luck everyone

Yayyy William! 🙂 That's awesome. When's the interview? I don't think they will let you know by october 24th because they have no obligation to tell you until later, but the decision shouldn't be too far after the end of October I would think. Anyhow, you can always ask me during class or something or online haha 😛

I'm still waiting for that letter from VCU >< 2 more weeks left.... anytime now...

haha thanks peter lol. yea i know they aren't forced to tell me the same time as u guys... haha but i'm hoping cuz the 24th is my interview at the other school i told u about in class. i'd rather not have to spend the money on the trip and supplemental applications for all my other schools.

ps. trying to study for the anatomy test tmw... haha not going so hot. i can't focus to save my life, but i guess i'll see u tmw in class

aw thank you!! You should apply anyway, my PCAT is pretty good, 86, but my cumulative GPA is only 3.3.

When are you interviewing? You still may get notified along w/ the ED students. that's what happened w/ me last year eventhough i was not an ED applicant- if they want you then they won't hesitate to notify you.

As for the interview, just relax, be yourself and show you can effectively communicate... Good luck w/ the interview

Thanks a lot. it's great to hear that someone was in the same situation as me last year. They called and left me a voicemail today cuz i was in lab and didn't have my phone with me. they said they were looking at this saturday the 18th of october for my interview, and regular interviews don't start till november according to Dean Reinders when i talked to him last week. thanks again for the support.

If you look @ the interview feedback on this site then that should prep you for all this... obviously look at VCU's stuff but peruse others to get an idea of what could be asked. I'll be there Sat... VCU involves their students in the interview process- we do the tours, proctor the essays and interview applicants along w/ a faculty member/alum. You'll be interviewed by 2 groups of 2 for about 20 min. each, so talk to 4 people for about 40 min total along w/ touring and an essay.

Jiggily Puff (William)!!!!!!! I am Mike Dail from AXE lol small ass world! Good luck buddy. Too bad I will be out of town this weekend or I would show you DT Richmond. I had my interview on the 27th with phuang (is he in AXE too?) so I have 2 weeks left to wait too. Good Luck again man!

well i'm retaking this weekend. so hopefully it goes a bit better! i've already sent out all the supp app stuff so now i'm just waiting... how long after they got your supp.app did you hear from them?

It was only a couple weeks. I think they received all of my materials 9/26, and I heard back yesterday, 10/13.

Got my second interview invite today. This time to Shenandoah. 😀 Weird thing is, it says they tried e-mailing me about the interview before, but I never responded, so they are trying again. Freaks me out, cause I double checked my e-mails and I didn't have any others from Shenandoah. Now I'm wondering if any other schools are having these problems?!? Probably just a freak accident though. :scared:

it might be something wrong on shenandoah's end. the same thing happened to me. they called me and said they had been trying to email me for awhile, but that it kept getting sent back to them.

It happened to me during the last application cycle when they totally made a typo on my email address, so I didn't find out about it until the week before the interview. Other than that, they should've let me know 3 weeks in advance. They decided to give me a call about two weeks later.

You can't actually delete a message, but you can edit it. That button is beside the quote button located on any message you have posted. You will have to be signed in to see it.

Interview with South on Nov. 14. Got the call yesterday and the confirmation email today. I'm so excited. Now I got to decide am I flying or driving.

Just got an invite for ETSU for this Wednesday! A bit short notice, but I don't want to wait another month so i'm going for it. I'm really excited as this is my first choice school.
