Interview invites for my stats

Hello everyone, I would like to hear from people who had past interview invites experiences.
So, I have finished most of my secondaries by the end of the August, and some of them I even finished them on early July.
So far I do not have an interview invite. I know it is very early in the applicant year, so I do not get stressed or anything.
But, I would like to hear from everyone who had interviews in the past about when they received interview invites, and it would be even better if someone with similar stats from mine could also tell me.
I basically have 3.8 GPA and 30M MCAT (I know, the writing is terrible,...)

In what months do you think I could expect to hear interview invites from schools, if I get some??

There is simply no way you can predict which months you might get an interview invite. People with similar stats get interviews at different times all the time, there's not really a correlation. Just sit tight and be patient, your stats are fine and the invites will come (assuming you applied broadly and a good balance of schools of different competitivness).

You realize there are more factors in determining if an applicant is a good choice for an II right?

Mayo had 3 cycles of interview invites before I got mine even though I was complete 7/2 so I'm kind of hoping that rings true for other schools as well :\

It's easy to worry whenever I see something new on SDN but I know I just have to wait ....

Also (back to topic...), I think it's totally reasonable to wonder when the IIs are gonna start - I definitely am in that position. It just really is that unpredictable. Best of luck!

You realize there are more factors in determining if an applicant is a good choice for an II right?

I know, I have pretty good EC I think.
I have a research, volunteering in hospital, shadowing ex, being a leader in pre-medical group, being a TA, working in my college as a RA, volunteer work in non-clinical settings, and am working in a clinical setting right now.

I also understand that the school and student's match is pretty important.

what I would like to hear is just experiences from people who got interviews of when they got interview invites to what schools.

3.71 Overall and 30 O MCAT... applied to 16 schools and have 5 interviews so far (two of which came in today and yesterday). No rejections yet. What schools did you apply to? I applied to 5 reach schools, three fall-backs, and 8 mid-range. I have received invites from 2 reach schools, two fall-backs, and one m-r. Hope this helps.

DocR2B, I hope that what you truly meant to say was this:

"OP, I have similar stats to yours and have just received invites within the past few days. It's actually not too late in the cycle, as some schools are only now sending out the first couple rounds of invitations. Hopefully yours will arrive any day now. Best of luck!"

Next time, could you try to be a bit more tactful?
