How did the interview go? I called them today and asked about the interview process. They said they haven't started interviewing for transfer students yet???

FAMU is pretty behind with their interview process, but everything is in full swing with interviews. They do the interviews in groups, and right now is the first group consisting of pre-pharmacy students. There is a chance they might not interview for the transfer group until may, I'm not sure though, keep checking back.

Yes I am, this is my last pre-professional year, I'm waiting to see whether I got accepted or not. A bunch of my friends are transfer students who go to the school and they are waiting for an interview. Good luck, I know its hard because they are taking so long.

Thanks, I am so upset because I was accepted to FAMU's pharmacy program from high school but at the time I didn't realize how competitive pharmacy school admissions would become. I have my degree in finance and now I want to go back to Pharmacy school. Do you know the average age of the pharmacy students and how many applicants FAMU received this year? Thanks
Famu receives over 1000 applicants and has about 150 spots open each year. I'm not sure about the actual average age of pharmacy students. Most of the students I have met are about 21 or 22 during their P1 year, but the oldest student I have met was a woman in her 40's going back to school after getting a degree in nursing. FAMU has some stiff requirements for their transfer students but just make sure you keep trying to get in touch with them to make sure everything is going smoothly.
