I graduated college this past spring and took part in a 3 month internship regarding infectious diseases in New York right after graduation. This past friday I had an interview and my interviewer asked me what I have been doing since october when my internship ended. I was honest and pretty much said I was enjoying my time off saving money for a trip, practicing music and spending time with family because I already have one acceptance at a desired school. Do you think this looks bad that I am not doing anything substantial? I already got in somewhere and figured I deserved some time to enjoy myself, but still want to keep myself competitive for the upcoming Interviews I have. Am I just over thinking things?

Nope.

I think you talking about what you have been doing is fine, but telling them you have "acceptance at a desired school" might be risky.

I didn't say desired, I just said I was accepted somewhere
