AHH I'm so sorry guys, my neuroticism is through the roof! I've been overthinking a conversation I was having with other applicants during one of my interview days. We were all talking about how many schools we each applied to, and I mentioned mine was in the 30's. Anyway they all asked how it was filling out secondaries and stuff...and I stupidly blurted out somewhere along the conversation that for some secondaries + schools that didn't seem like a good fit, I withdrew my application.
This conversation took place at a very service-driven school, so at first I didn't think it was bad to mention that I wasn't interested at all in schools that didn't place service to the community at a very high priority. Somewhere in the conversation, I probably also mentioned that I noticed certain schools didn't care about service very much, and that immediately turned me off.
I don't know what the thresh-hold for "talking smack" about other schools are, and I don't know if what I said is considered insulting other schools. (I don't feel like I was...but it might have been a bad move to mention I wasn't into schools that are service-driven).
Anyway, now I'm scared that the staff might have heard me and interpreted that as "insulting" other schools, when I was stating some schools weren't a fit for me (I never mentioned WHICH specific schools, only that there were some). Ugh I need to just keep my mouth shut.
