you need a strong drink my man...

RELAX!!! don't worry about stupid small stuff, sit however you feel comfortable.....well, as long as its not indecent!

Yeah, better to have crossed legs than sitting wide open with hand partially inserted into pants a la Al Bundy.

Any reasonable person would contend that poor posture can send the wrong signal.

Some say a good strategy (may or may not work for you) is a firm handshake to start things off. When sitting be at ease (try not to cross your legs) and with a slight lean forward denoting interest and maintain eye contact.

There are several interviewing sites with tons of other suggestions.

Good Luck,

Sharon Stone's posture in Basic Instinct would have gotten her into medical school.

I concur!!
And if you're a guy show off that jungle snake(if you APPLY)! 👍

just follow your interviewer's lead. if your interviewer was a marine and sits like he has a piece of rebar stuck up his ass, don't go for the super-hip casual look. if your interviewer is more laid-back, the whole lean-foward-to-show-you're-paying-attention thing might make you look like a spaz.

just pay attention to your interviewer and follow him/her.

Jungle snakes??! Wow, are they venomous??

And I thought interviews were supposed to be boring affairs.

Exactly.

Except... if you have a deadpan interviewer. You can't mirror their behavior beyond simply being subdued. Or if your interviewer is being hyperagressive.

You should sit with your fly unzipped and your wiener sticking out of your pants.

I was told never to cross my legs in an interview: it looks more unprofessional because you look more closed and you can't sit up as straight without getting uncomfortable/shifty I think. Instead, it was recommended to cross your ankles, sit up straight, and be attentive to the interviewer.

ha ha... that includes the interviewer scratching-->don't mimic. 😀

If you're anything like me, you probably won't even remember the bulk of your interview, let alone what position your legs were in.

Ask me what my interviewers talked about and I wouldn't be able to tell you much... :scared:

Darn that epinephrine!!

Honestly, I think you can get away with crossing your legs. If you have a big schlong, you may not be able to sit comfortably without frequent adjustments, so take that into consideration.
