Interview question regarding rankings?

Hey what is your opinion on asking an interviewer about the ranking the of their school? Do you think it would be ok to ask something like "() is currently ranked ()th...do you think the school is dedicated to moving into the top 10 and how will you go about it?"

this is just my opinion, but I think it would get you a thin envelope in return. Trying to move up in rankings and doing things to improve the medical school are all that closely related. Look at the methodology of usnews, it's a lot of bs.

On the other hand, I think that "what things are currently being done to address recent concerns within the medical school?" is a great question.

never do that. many scoff at those rankings.
