hey, I was reviewing the interview questions for UPenn and one of the questions is "why should we NOT admit you?" I have no idea on how to answer this question, any suggestions? thanks
I would probably refuse to directly answer the question. I would say "I, like everyone, have some flaws, but they aren't enough to not be admitted to your school."
I guess have some small flaws to mention (like I watch too much TV, or eat way too much candy <-- my flaws).
Hopefully you won't be asked during your interview though.
(edit: though I do like IvyHopeful's answer... but that would ring untrue from me and I hate not sounding authentic.)
I guess I would rather mention a flaw or two than a reason to not be admitted to medical school. The latter seems like a worst offense. But if someone comes up with something better, I would use that (but so far, I'm not a big fan of any answer)Don't say that...They'll then ask you about your flaws (even though they originally didn't plan to) and you'll set yourself up for failure, unless you're good and memorizing your answer and can make it come off as natural. The less you say, the smarter you look. lolque
"Because I'm going to get accepted to Harvard" 😉
lolBecause it's been more than four hours and I need to end the interview to go to the ER.
