How have you people handled the "tell me about yourself question" without sounding like a repeat of your resume... I would like to talk about where I grew up, what my family's like.. any other ideas???

you know just go ahead and start with that and just start talking haha. you will be surprised that everytime they ask you...you will answer it in a different way.....and while you are talking......the interviewer will most likely interrupt and ask you to talk about something you said in more detail.

then the interview will just move on from there...i honestly think this is harder than any other question since it is so broad.

i agree.. it is very vague... and probably that's why it's so hard to answer 🙂

Look at it this way. There is no wrong answer.
