So one of my interviewers told me "good luck with the rest of your interviews" at the end of the session.

I pretty certain this is speak for you're not getting in here. What do you guys think?

or they were actually just wishing you good luck...

Yeah, you're really over-analyzing this. He was just being polite.

I'm probably overanalyzing it because the interview could have gone better. So I suppose I jumped to conclusions and was thinking of it as "good luck because you're going to need it."

Well, I should know soonish if i get in or not.

It all depends on context and emphasis.

Possibility #1:
"'GOOD LUCK' with the rest of your interviews."

Analysis: He's being polite. Nothing bad.

Possibility #2:
"Good luck with the 'REST' of your interviews."

Analysis: Better get that job application in to Burger King.

Possibility #3:
"Good luck with the rest of 'YOUR' interviews."

Analysis: He's jealous. He wants an interview of his own.

Possibility #4:
"Good luck with the rest of your 'INTERVIEWS'."

Analysis: Your social ******edness was so bad that during the interview it felt like a psychiatry consult for the doctor. See #2 for other job possibilities.

 Post of the year material right here.

Amazing. Lol.

I heard this too from half of the interviewers, but since the interviews went okay, I think its just an expression. From our perspective, every little word sounds like an omen, especially since we have a tunnel vision for remembering negatives more than positives. If you think from the interviewer's perspective, things might seem better.👍

In all seriousness though, I think it very much depends on the person interviewing you. If the interviewer is a nice person (usually the case) then it just means (s)he wishes you well. At a school where my interviewer told me that I found out that he told everyone the same thing.
