oh.
so it's this http://more.studentdoctor.net/schools/?type=2 but without as much stuff.

Right... cuz this is a nice neat organized list. So it's gotta be worse than sifting through those interview feedback questions.

I also didn't realize you could discuss potential questions right ON the interview feedback page... mind showing me the URL to that feature? K thanks bye

You know, a lot of the time sarcasm doesn't translate too well in writing, but yours does beautifully. Nicely done haha👍

Thanks, it's a muscle I've been working out regularly.

PS. If you're from Toronto... go get Whatta Bagel. NOW!

Yeah that's right, I lived at Leslie and York Mills back in the day.

No kidding! I live 1 intersection away from Leslie and York Mills.

Unfortunately I'm at work at the moment, so no bagels for me. I believe the bagel I had for breakfast was Whatta Bagel though

"Where do we stand in your list of medical school preferences?"
"Uh, you're number one, of course..."
How are you supposed to answer this question?

"Uh, you're a solid number five"

they can ask me the other schools I've applied to?? 😕

Yes, but you technically don't have to answer. If they accept you however, then after Feb 15th they get a list of other places that have accepted you.

Hopefully it is all the rest of the top 20 schools so you get a scholarship 😉

I had a dual B.S. (biochem / math) doctor ask me, Why Math?

Perhaps I shouldn't have told him I loved math...

I'm preparing myself for the "teach me something" interview prompt. 🙂

Never got that one. In fact, I never really got any of those off the wall questions you seem to hear about it. All of my interviews were pretty straightforward. Maybe I lucked out.

What do you think you're gonna teach them?

I think I'm going to ask them for a blank sheet of paper and teach them how to make a simple piece of origami.

CB, that was mine! 😛

Today I heard about an interview question...

Role playing: Suppose you get accepted into medical school on the condition that upon graduation you have to practice family medicine in a rural area. However, halfway through your education, you find you hate rural medicine. What do you do?

Role-Play: You are the doctor and the interviewer was a doctor who came to see you in your office because he was very recently diagnosed with cancer. You had to show how you would deal with this type of situation. However, he kept on making the situation harder by telling me that he could not deal with cancer, that he had seen many of his patients succumb to cancer and that he didn’t want to be a burden on his family/wife etc.
I had to be compassionate and supportive throughout. The situation ended with him asking me if I could prescribe him sleeping pills (I think he was hinting euthanasia at the end).

I heard that they ask:

"If I were a fruit, what fruit would I be? and how would you eat me?"
