Does anyone else have a problem with having your interview replay over and over again in your head? I did well and I am happy with how it went, but I can't stop the instant replay. Please help me!!!

Haha I was like that for a whole week. I thought about every single question...and I thought I sounded like a complete idiot. I guess its normal. 😛

Yeah exactly...since this whole process is so fickle you are constantly saying to yourself....I did good but then you think but what if they were really asking "X" or did I make enough eye contact...or too much? Oh well, nothing i can do now about it. I do think the only cure is an acceptance so I will try to keep my mind busy until I hear back, catch up on some PS2.

I also had my interview playing over and over in my head. The cure was three weeks later when I got my acceptance. Hang in there!

For me the pattern seemed to be this: immediately upon leaving the interview I was confident and sure it went well....hours of nuerotic dissection/interview replay follow, and suddenly I had a terrible interview. As far as the cure it can be either the above or a complete nervous breakdown...you pick

Coming out of interviews, I always felt really good about myself, but most of that was probably relief at having all of the pent-up anxiety leave my body. As time went by, I found myself feeling less and less confident about how I had done. The mind does terrible things.
