Hello,
i tried search in the pre-allo, but could not find a proper answer.
For an interview in a non-rolling admission schools, is it still better to schedule interview as early as possible?

I just got an interview invitation from NYU and they say I can schedule my interview next Monday. But I ended up scheduling mine in January. Whether having an interview earlier or later matters in non-rolling schools?

As far as I know, NYU starts to send out acceptances in December, so it is sort of rolling. I don't know that it will make a big difference but if you interview next month you might hear in December, whereas if you interview in January you might not hear until much later, like March. Just speculation though.

Sure- I submitted my electronic secondary application on Aug 21 and received the file completion notification on Sep 29. It took little less than a month..

BTW, thanks Treg! It sounds like they are doing rolling admission. 🙁
