Do you think it is better to send a letter thank you versus an email? Email is really convenient and easy. Is it too informal?

you don't have to send one 🙂
email is okay.
typed letters are fine.
hand-written letters are great.

but afterall, it's just there to show the interviewers your appreciation of them taking off some times to talk to you.

let's be realistic, thank-you letters don't really make a difference in their decision 🙂

I have met some student interviewers who told me "DO NOT SEND ME ANY THANK YOU LETTER"
